Overview

I am working with a leading independent property and asset management consultancy who are looking to grow the Birmingham office. They are looking for a Property Manager who has experience with Commercial Assets and is looking for a new challenge. They are open to looking at candidates who have recently graduated through to Surveyor level. They pride themselves on their values and a strong ESG focus. You will be engaging directly with clients, building relationships and managing your own portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio and Client Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse property portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for both clients and occupiers. Develop and maintain strong relationships while delivering tailored, strategic advice aligned with each client\'s objectives.
  • Commercial and Financial Oversight: Take responsibility for the preparation, management, and reconciliation of service charge budgets, ensuring transparency and cost efficiency. Drive value-add initiatives that enhance asset performance and client returns, while managing fee billing, cash collection, and identifying opportunities for service improvement.
  • Team Leadership and Best Practice: Collaborate effectively within a team environment. Contribute to wider business initiatives, stay informed of industry developments and actively engage in local networking to support business growth
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualifications: Working towards RICS qualification, recently graduated or recently chartered.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of property law, including Section 25 notices.
  • Skills: Exceptional ability to adapt, prioritize, and handle multiple demands and queries effectively. Proactive in problem-solving and taking the initiative to resolve issues.
