We focus on all forms of media and have a special interest in AI and emerging tech, gaming, social media, programme appreciation, sports, Gen Z and Alpha, B2B, audience representation – and more! We utilise quantitative and qualitative techniques to design and deliver custom ad hoc and tracking research studies. As part of a team, you will use this research to tell compelling, evidence-based stories that answer clients’ business questions and support them in navigating the evolving media landscape.

The Role

In this role, you’ll work with data, understanding and interpreting it to make a real impact. Your focus will be on what the data means, showing your findings to clients and crafting insights-led stories that drive their business decisions.

You’ll be able to answer key questions like, ‘How does our research have an impact on the client’s business?’, ‘How can they use this information to refine their strategy?’, and ‘What could these changes mean for them financially?’.

Supported by your team and manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with team members to set up research projects, liaise with suppliers, and work with clients.
  • Design questionnaires, write table specifications, and check and interpret data.
  • Provide updates to clients, design reports, analyse data and support debriefs.
  • Gain exposure to the entire project life cycle, from taking client briefs to managing timelines and costings, developing questionnaires, and ensuring quality control.
  • Help us think about how we can deliver our conclusions and recommendations in an engaging and creative way.
  • Have the opportunity to work across a range of client projects.
About You

We encourage diversity of thought so we look for candidates who are as diverse as the societies, markets and people we work with. Therefore we are looking for:

  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset, focused on not only interpreting data but also understanding the “why” behind insights.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills, the ability to derive actionable insights from data and present them in a clear and engaging way for diverse audiences.
  • Commercial awareness and client-focused mindset, with a genuine passion in understanding client needs and delivering impactful, value-driven solutions
  • A curiosity and learning agility that fosters exploration of new ideas and openness to understanding changing trends.
  • Creativity and innovation to think outside the box and bring fresh, impactful ideas to life.
  • Embraces collaboration and teamwork, working effectively with others and valuing diverse perspectives to build on colleagues' strengths.
  • Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in every task.
  • A focus on self-awareness and a growth mindset, driven to succeed and make a real impact, with a willingness to reflect, learn, and grow.
  • An aptitude for leveraging AI tools and techniques to enhance research and insights, in line with Ipsos' standards and policies.
