Overview

My client, a leading manufacturer of specialist electronic equipment, seeks a Graduate Production Engineer with a strong electronic background to join their expanding team near Nottingham.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of product manufacture.
  • Maintain production equipment, in‑house tooling, and test fixtures, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to resolve recurring issues.
  • Provide training and technical support to production operators, collaborating with the design team to lead the transfer of new and custom products into production.
  • Define, prepare, audit, and maintain production documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and control plans.
  • Support the collection and monitoring of process metrics (Yield, Scrap) and report findings to management.
Qualifications
  • Degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or similar.
  • Industry experience is essential.
