A care assistance agency is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in Peterborough for a client with a spinal cord injury, requiring support with personal care and daily living tasks. Full training is provided, making this suitable for those without prior care experience. A full UK driving license and a positive, caring attitude are essential. Ideal candidates will be organized, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality. This is a part-time role with flexible shifts, offering £16.56 per hour.
Ask Jules is looking for a Personal Care Assistant for our client, a career professional based in Cambridgeshire. The role involves personal care and assistance with aspects of daily living.
Hours: Part time or holiday support is required. This will be 56 shifts per year. Hours will be discussed prior to the interview (weekdays, weekends and overnight sleeping nights on call are required, so flexibility is essential). There is also an opportunity to support the client in Newcastle when he visits family and abroad (28 days per year).
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £16.56 per hour
Care experience is not required – full training will be provided.
The client has a spinal cord injury and will require support with all aspects of life, including personal care, clinical care, physiotherapy and general tasks around his home. Driving will be essential for this role.
Prior care experience is not required, though some experience is preferred.
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client’s care; therefore full training in his particular needs is provided.
You must respect our client’s privacy and understand the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
