Graduate Mentor - Elite Sixth Form | Lewisham | ASAP Start

Location: Lewisham, South East London (SE) | Salary: £100-£110 per day | Full-time | Term-time only | Temp to Perm Route

Are you a high-achieving graduate with the charisma, confidence, and commitment to become a future teacher or school leader? This Lewisham Sixth Form, graded 'Good' by OFSTED and widely respected for its academic excellence, is looking for an inspirational Graduate Mentor to support its A-Level students starting immediately.

As a Graduate Mentor, you'll be working closely with KS5 learners to help them exceed expectations – both academically and pastorally. If you're passionate about your subject and ready to step into a school where your impact will be felt daily, this is the perfect opportunity.

What You"ll Be Doing
  • Mentor sixth formers academically and pastorally across subject areas
  • Support revision, time management, and independent study
  • Lead small group booster sessions and 1:1 academic mentoring
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and in-class learning
  • Help foster motivation, resilience, and high expectations
  • Play an active role in enrichment, clubs, and school life
Ideal Candidate
  • Academic graduate (2:1 or above) with strong A-Levels
  • Keen to pursue a career in education or youth leadership
  • Confident communicator with energy and enthusiasm
  • Prior experience tutoring or supporting young people is a plus
  • Reliable, professional, and ready to contribute from day one
  • Available to commit to a full academic year (minimum)
