Job summary

A global engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support clients with asset management, focusing on hydraulics and pump systems. The ideal candidate will have a BEng in Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or above) and experience in producing engineering specifications. Responsibilities include pumping calculations, liaising with design teams, and providing project delivery support. Qualifications

• Demonstrable interest in water projects.
• Relevant work experience an advantage.
• Basic computer skills essential.
• Willing and able to work towards professional qualifications such as IET & IMechE.

Responsibilities

• Production of engineering specification documents related to hydraulics and pump systems.
• Production of lifting, access, and maintenance plans.
• Liaising with internal and external design teams, clients, and contractors.
• Provision of timely reporting to the client and internal team lead.
