Job summary

A leading educational organization in Manchester is seeking Graduate Learning Support Assistants to provide support to secondary school students. This role is designed for recent graduates looking to gain valuable experience in education. You will assist students academically and pastorally, and may conduct catch-up sessions in core subjects. Are you a recent graduate with aspirations of becoming a teacher or working with children? If you are, but are unsure about how to get started on this path then I may have the job for you!

We are recruiting for Graduate Learning Support Assistants to support secondary schools across Central Manchester on a full or part‑time basis.

This role involves supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally while responding to their individual needs. You will work alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support. You may also deliver catch‑up and intervention sessions, especially if you have core subject knowledge, such as Maths, English and Sciences.

What will you need for this job?
  • Recent university degree. All degrees can be considered!
  • Based within Central Manchester
  • Clear desire to work with children and young people.
  • Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school.
