As part of our 2026 early careers cohort, we are looking to hire a Graduate Land Surveyor. You will be joining a hardworking and successful team specialising in conducting a wide range of land surveying duties across the UK. You will learn and shadow while gaining experience to conduct surveys yourself in a wide variety of environments across the UK and overseas. Flexibility is required to work at locations away from home across the UK with the possibility of occasional overseas projects, and you may need to work nights and weekend shifts. You must be willing to take and pass regular drug and alcohol screening. The sites we work on require CSCS accreditation, so willingness to complete this is essential. We are flexible on your base location, with offices in London, Manchester, Croydon, or Wakefield. You will have the opportunity to work on many different projects, including airside inspections and compliance surveys. On joining Pell Frischmann you will become part of an expert, multidisciplinary team and will be enrolled onto our 2‑year Graduate programme, a great way to kick‑start your career and network with other graduates across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in undertaking topographic, engineering, and as‑built surveys
• Support setting‑out activities for civil engineering and construction projects
• Collect, process, and manage survey data using GPS, total stations, and laser scanning equipment
• Produce survey drawings, models, and reports using industry‑standard software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• Carry out site visits and fieldwork in accordance with health and safety requirements
• Maintain accurate survey records and data management systems
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders
• Support senior surveyors in meeting project deadlines and quality standards
• Willingness to undergo regular drug and alcohol screening, complete CSCS accreditation, and work occasional night and weekend shifts with the possibility of overseas projects.

Qualifications

• Degree (or expected degree) in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Interest in site‑based work and developing technical surveying expertise
• Basic knowledge of surveying equipment and methodologies
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain)
