Overview

Are you seeking your first geo-environmental consultancy role? Recently graduated from a degree in geoscience, geology, earth science, environmental science or geotechnical engineering? A Ground Investigation and Environmental Consultancy based bear Middlesbrough are seeking an ambitious Geo-Environmental Consultant to join them on a variety of projects across the North East. You’ll be provided with the necessary training, support and resources to kickstart your career.

Responsibilities

The selected Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant will be working with a small team of specialists on a range of ground investigation & contaminated land projects, both on site and in office. You’ll be overseeing ground investigations, borehole logging and coring, groundwater and gas monitoring, factual and interpretive report writing, carrying out desktop studies, complying with health and safety practices and liaising with team members.

Requirements

To be considered for this Graduate Geo-Environmental Consultant position you should have:

  • A degree in a relevant subject, for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or environmental engineering.
  • Commutable to Middlesbrough and the surrounding area.
  • Full UK driving licence, as travelling to site will be essential.
  • A full right to work in the UK.
  • Enthusiasm to work outdoors in a hands on and interactive role.
