Graduate Fire Stopping Surveyor - Nationwide

We are recruiting a driven Graduate Fire Stopping Surveyor for a newly established business specialising in fire stopping works. Backed by a nationally operating refurbishment contractor with an excellent reputation, this role combines the energy of a start-up with the security of an established firm. Full training will be provided, and you will work closely alongside a Senior Surveyor, with clear scope for career development as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys to assess fire stopping requirements and existing installations
• Assist in preparing detailed reports and project documentation
• Support site teams to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and quality standards
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality fire stopping solutions
• Learn and apply industry best practice under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor

About You

• A recent graduate in any discipline (construction-related degrees such as Construction Management, Building Surveying, or Fire Engineering are advantageous)
• Keen interest in passive fire protection and fire safety
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work across varied projects
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of fire safety regulations (e.g., Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005)
• CSCS card (White/Graduate level)
• Awareness of passive fire protection systems or fire stopping techniques
• Valid UK driving licence
