The role will give you insight into all levels and areas of the business, not just property matters, giving you an exceptional insight into why our actions and the team’s performance are essential to the success of The Group.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and own tasks handed down by senior team members.
  • Continuously challenge, question and query why and how on all estates matters.
  • Manage time and priorities effectively; the Estates Team often works to hard deadlines and dates.
  • Be responsible for acquisitions in a certain area or assist senior team members during an acquisition phase.
  • Assist team members on all estates matters to ensure the estate remains fit for purpose, allowing the retail teams to operate effectively and profitably.
  • Handle a range of duties, from liaising with council on road works to supporting a team member during a profitable store relocation.
  • Take ownership of lease events, including landlord negotiations and engaging consultants on technical renewals, and report accordingly.
  • Manage a given geographical area of responsibility in all aspects, including business rates, service charges and general estates issues.
Qualifications
  • Ideally degree educated; work experience is also beneficial.
  • Can critically review, analyse, interpret and present appropriate data to inform senior team decision‑making.
  • Excellent time and workload management skills.
  • Effectively multi‑task and jump onto differing priorities as they appear.
  • Open to travel nationally and internationally as appropriate, including frequent nights away.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Proficient with MS Suite.
