Working as a Graduate Engineer within our Avove Ireland team, you will have an interest in water/wastewater engineering and will be joining our dedicated Base Maintenance, Design and Build Capital Works teams. We are currently delivering an expanding programme of work for our client across Lot 2 and Lot 3 of NI Water’s IF105 Framework.
With a base in Newry and a regional office in Enniskillen, Avove Ireland supports sites across Northern Ireland, so applicants should be prepared to travel as part of the role. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a multidisciplinary team, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects covering all aspects of water and wastewater networks and treatment facilities, from feasibility and detailed design through to construction.
At the outset, you’ll spend your time between office and site to gain valuable experience and a full understanding of how we work.
This role is an asap start. This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Visa process. Applicants must therefore have, and maintain, an alternative right to work for the duration of employment.

We would like you to have already graduated with your degree. You will be computer literate, have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to work individually and as part of a team. A degree in either Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Construction Engineering is required for this role to satisfy the current entry requirements for CEng or IEng, IMechE or IET or equivalent professional qualifications for technical disciplines relevant to engineering.
