Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Morecambe is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to contribute to medical device development projects. This role will involve supporting design and product development within a collaborative environment, ideal for a recent graduate. Candidates should be degree qualified in engineering or a related field and have practical experience with CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. This position offers exposure across the product development lifecycle in a dynamic, innovative setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market leading engineering and manufacturing organisation operating within the medical and respiratory protection sectors. We are looking for a Graduate Design Engineer to support the delivery of medical device development projects at its Morecambe facility.

This role is well suited to a graduate or early career engineer looking to gain exposure across the full product development lifecycle within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of medical device filtration products.
  • Create and develop mechanical designs using 3D CAD.
  • Assist with prototype build, testing, verification and validation activities.
