Graduate Civil Engineer

About the role

My client is in need of a recently qualified civil engineer graduate (2024/ or 2025). Their Graduate Scheme will give you exposure across the company in a range of disciplines, working collaboratively to plan, design and deliver projects on a basis. The scheme offers an accelerated pathway to success. As our clients new Civil Engineer Graduate, youll be supported and guided by experienced engineers and learn to be an expert in Civil Engineering. Working in collaboration with other disciplines to develop and detail appropriate solutions, youll adopt the principles of excellence in design based on the industry-leading approaches.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop 3D models and solutions.
  • Maintain close links with other Engineers, Technical Managers and Operations.
  • Follow ongoing support and training to develop engineering expertise and pursue chartered status in the chosen area.
  • Work with other disciplines to develop and detail appropriate solutions and adopt best design practices.
About you
  • Must hold a BSc (Hons) and/or MSc (Hons) in civil engineering.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets.
  • Sound IT skills. Experience with Revit or BIM (academic or commercial) is advantageous.
  • Ability to think methodically to problem solve and manage projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Some knowledge of relevant legislation.
