  • Contracted Hours: 30.75 hours per week
  • Monday Thursday & Friday 07.45 -6.30
  • Flexibility is required and essential
  • Salary: £12.21 per hour
  • Breaks: 30-minute lunch break plus a paid morning break
  • Holiday: 5.5 weeks annual leave

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
  • Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and cancellations
  • Answer incoming calls and handle patient queries with professionalism
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information when required
  • Support patients with payment processes and administrative needs
  • Process prescription requests accurately and efficiently
  • Open, sort, and distribute post
  • Scan and upload medical letters to patient records
  • Carry out general office duties such as filing, data entry, and stock management
  • Work as part of a supportive team, assisting colleagues where needed
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient care
  • Protect patient confidentiality at all times
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations at all times.

  • Experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is highly desirable, especially in a healthcare setting, but were happy to provide full training for the right candidate.
