Location: Flexible

Our client is a highly respected and product‑centric organisation operating within the high‑volume components sector. As part of an ambitious growth agenda, the business is seeking a Global Sales Director, offering significant influence over the direction of the business. The successful candidate will lead the global sales function and develop strategic customer partnerships.

The role:

As Global Sales Director, you will define and deliver the growth vision for the business, driving sustainable development across core and emerging markets while ensuring close alignment between sales, supply chain and operational capability.

Key responsibilities:
  • Set and execute the global sales and commercial strategy, aligned to long‑term growth objectives
  • Provide leadership to a senior sales team, creating a high‑performance, accountable culture
  • Own and develop key strategic and global customer relationships
  • Identify and capitalise on new markets, sectors and channel opportunities
  • Drive rigorous sales forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting at executive level
  • Contribute to strategic decisions around pricing, service models, investment and growth initiatives
The person:
  • A senior leader with a proven track record of driving growth in high‑volume environments
  • Experience within fasteners, Category ’C’ components or a closely aligned sector
  • Demonstrated success leading international or multi‑site sales organisations
  • Commercially astute, strategic and credible
  • Comfortable shaping strategy and leading execution
  • A confident influencer with strong leadership presence and relationship‑building capability
