Job description

Our global manufacturing client are seeking an experienced Global Quality Tools & Methods Specialist to lead the development and deployment of quality methodologies, standards, and digital tools across a global high-tech organisation. This role is key to driving proactive, data-driven quality improvement and ensuring product and process excellence.

In this role, you'll work closely with global teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and service functions, influencing quality practices across multiple international sites. The position is predominantly home-based with occasional office collaboration and some international travel.

What you'll be doing
  • Define and implement the global strategy for Quality Tools & Methods.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and support digital transformation (Quality 4.0).
  • Own and improve methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, 8D, CAPA.
  • Harmonise quality processes across R&D, operations, and service teams.
  • Support analytics, dashboards, and automated reporting systems.
  • Lead problem-solving, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams; support audits and reviews.
  • Mentor and guide global quality teams.
What skills you'll bring
Essential
  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in quality engineering, reliability, or operational excellence.
  • Strong expertise in quality tools and statistical analysis software.
  • Proven experience driving quality systems and improvements in global or multi-site organisations.
Preferred
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification.
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing or semiconductor equipment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015.
