A leading global ingredients solutions provider is seeking a Patent Attorney in London to manage global intellectual property portfolios, providing strategic advice on patentability, and collaborating with Science teams. The ideal candidate is a dual qualified UK and European Patent Attorney with 2-5 years PQE and strong knowledge in international patent prosecution. Qualifications

  • Duel qualified UK and European Patent Attorney with 2-5 years PQE or recently qualified with in-house experience.
  • Core European patent prosecution skills with strong working knowledge in US, China, Japan, and global jurisdictions.
  • Experience in contentious proceedings or freedom to operate analysis would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global IP portfolio including patents and trademarks.
  • Support annual IP budget management.
  • Advise on patentability and validity of third-party rights.
  • Partner with Science & Innovation teams for IP protection.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on IP awareness.
