Job Title: Girls Physical Education Teacher

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time. Pay rate is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Job Duties

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective physical education lessons for female students
• Evaluate and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
• Create and implement individualised learning plans to cater to the diverse needs of students
• Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and conduct
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall development of students

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Unqualified Teacher with extensive experience teaching Secondary ages
• Degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Experience teaching physical education to secondary school students

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrated understanding of the national curriculum for physical education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialisation in Physical Education
• Experience working with diverse student populations
