Overview

German Speaking Customer Service Advisor

Location: Office-Based in Milton Keynes
Hourly Rate: £14.56 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Are you fluent in German (spoken and written) and confident communicating in conversational English? This role is with a well-established British brand known for its commitment to excellence and career development. Working Hours
  • Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 18:00, 5 days per week (including every other weekend)
  • Flexibility to work until 18:00 on weekdays
  • Training: Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 19:00 (first 4 weeks)

Please ensure full availability during training - no holidays during this period

Your Role

As a German-Speaking Customer Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers across the globe via phone, email, and web chat. You'll play a key role in delivering a seamless and positive experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling inbound communications in German and English
  • Supporting customers with orders, deliveries, returns, cancellations, and complaints
  • Sharing information on promotions and exclusive offers
  • Providing fast, friendly, and solution-focused support
What We're Looking For
  • Fluency in German (spoken and written)
  • Conversational English - enough to communicate confidently with colleagues and customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for customer service
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus - but not essential
