A Japanese entertainment related company is seeking a Sales & Admin Coordinator who speaks German, English, and Japanese fluently. You will support the Sales Manager in charge of German market to start, with growing responsibility for the market to support it together in the future. It is an exciting opportunity for those keen to put their language and administration skills to practical use.
Role details
- Job type: Permanent, full-time (On-site work, 5 days/week)
- Working Hours: 8:30-17:30, Monday - Friday
- Location: South West London
- Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on the experience)
- Visa support: The company will provide visa support for the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Sales calls to Retailers, Distributors in the EU and others.
- Marketing activities - conducts sales analysis, ad planning, sales forecasting
- Acquires licensing agreements (Sales activities to hardware and software makers)
- Translates product information, instructions, their website, and other business-related documents to and from Japanese/English/German.
- Performs interpretation as needed.
- In charge of drawing up, negotiating, and signing business related contracts.
- Research patent related information within the game industry.
- Manages bank accounts and petty cash.
- Attends to resident officers, loan employees and expatriate personnel.
- Manages day to day activities with little to no managerial supervision
- Performs other sales-related duties for worldwide markets and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
- Troubleshooting problems, answers questions from sellers and handles complaints.
Requirements / Desirable skills
- At least 1 year experience of office work, ideally sales related
- Fluent level German, Fluent English and Japanese (Ideally JLPT N2 or higher)
- Experience to work/live in Japan is highly beneficial
- Interest in digital/gaming/entertainment industries could be advantageous
- Understanding Japanese culture, especially corporate environments
- Comfortable to work in the office 5 days a week
- Strong communication skills, flexible attitude
