Overview

‘TEACH Poole’ Multi-Academy Trust comprises Ad Astra Infant School, Haymoor Junior School, Canford Heath Infant School and Canford Heath Junior School. The Trust was formed in April 2015 and all four schools are graded as good or outstanding by Ofsted. We are a welcoming, forward-thinking group with supportive staff and fantastic children.

We are looking to appoint a permanent General Teaching Assistant to join our Trust and work across the whole primary school age range. The successful candidate will be employed by the Trust and may carry out duties at any of the four schools; however, the current position will be based at Canford Heath Infant School, providing learning support to children in Year 1.

Job Details

Role: General Teaching Assistant

Location: Canford Heath Infant School

Salary: Grade D (Point 5-6) £24,790 to £25,183 per annum pro-rata (Actual salary c. £15,995 to £16,249)

Term: Term time only

Hours: 28.75 per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.00 pm (45-minute lunch)

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP
