General Teaching Assistant – Secondary (KS3–KS5 & SEN Support)

Contract : Full Time, Temporary

Are you a caring, proactive and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a secondary school setting? This is a rewarding opportunity to join a friendly and inclusive school in Ealing, West London, supporting students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and student wellbeingнов youtube, whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to gain valuable school-based experience. You’ll be working closely with teachers and support staff to help create a positive, structured and engaging learning_holder environment whereBooth student can succeed.

The Role
  • Supporting students in the classroom, in small groups or Maestro-one-to-one basis.
  • Assisting with lessons to help students stay engaged and on task.
  • Providing additional support to students with SEN and varying learning needs.
  • Helping to manage behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes.
  • Supporting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has experience working with children or young people (school‑based experience desirable).
  • Is patient, adaptable and confident supporting a range of abilities.
  • Has a genuine interest in education and inclusive learning.
  • Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team.
