A leading healthcare provider is seeking an experienced General Practitioner with a Specialist Interest in Dermatology to join their team in Manchester. This role involves delivering high-quality dermatology care across community and outpatient clinics, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have full GMC registration, a Diploma in Dermatology, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitioner with a Specialist Interest in Dermatology (GPwSI) to join our expanding dermatology service in Manchester. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centred dermatology care across a network of community and outpatient clinics. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary team while developing and utilising specialist dermatology skills in a well-resourced clinical environment.
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of dermatological conditions in community and outpatient settings.
- Perform dermatological procedures as appropriate, including cryotherapy, biopsies, curettage, excisions, and minor skin surgery (dependent on competence).
- Support triage of dermatology referrals and contribute to effective patient pathway management.
- Work collaboratively with dermatologists, nurses, GPs, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver seamless, integrated care.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit, service development, and quality improvement.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice, education, and support to primary care colleagues regarding dermatological conditions and best practice.
- Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain and enhance specialist dermatology expertise.
