St Lawrence Road Surgery is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional GP Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of the practice, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a high standard of customer service both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
Your responsibilities will include managing appointment bookings, handling patient enquiries, updating records, processing prescriptions, and supporting the clinical team with day to day administrative tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the surgery and delivering excellent patient care in line with DCHS values.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a busy healthcare environment. Experience in a receptionist or administrative role, particularly within the NHS, is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
