We are currently recruiting General Porters to work within the team to provide a comprehensive Portering service of a high standard across the Weston General Hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in our patient friendly hospital. This particular shift pattern will be night shifts only. It is seven days on, seven days off. You will work:

Shift Pattern
  • Thursday – Thursday: 20:00–07:00 (37.5 hours per week). The first Thursday will be 19:00–07:00.
Responsibilities
  • Providing a portering and messenger service, including transfer of patients and visitors between wards and departments.
  • Moving and managing waste within Weston Hospital.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and attending trust training.
  • Responding to emergency bleeps including cardiac arrest, fire, and major trauma.
  • Other tasks as required.
