General Manager - London

Annual Salary UP TO £55k per annum (depending on experience) + quarterly paid bonus

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join our team to manage one of our London Pubs….in 50 words:

‘To manage the business on a daily basis by scheduling adequately, correctly attired, well trained staff, ordering the correct level of products to produce meals & beverages to specification to serve our customers with warmth, sincerity & integrity whilst accurately accounting for all purchases in a maintained and controlled environment’

Belle Pubs & Restaurants currently operate 4 beautiful, busy, vibrant community venues in London with screens for sport, outside seating areas and all have a great reputation with the local community for serving up perfectly poured drinks and delicious food from breakfast through to 11pm with an all day dining menu.

Two of our properties also offer boutique hotel accommodation above for which we cater for business travellers during the week and at weekends we welcome tourists and travelling sports fans.

For this role to join our team we are inviting applications from experienced General Managers or a Deputy General Manager looking for the next step in their management journey who can demonstrate the following attributes and skills:

  • Passionate about great service with a ‘can do’ attitude & ‘hands‑on’ management style
  • A keen & active sales person & genuine promotor of the business
  • Great eye for detail in terms of housekeeping & cleanliness within the public areas as well as hotel rooms
  • Excellent communication skills with staff & customers
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Effective recruiter and enthusiastic trainer
  • Proficient with ordering, stock rotation & cellar management
  • Reservation management for tables, functions and hotel rooms
