Industry Leading Fitness Operator

We are recruiting for this fitness job in Teeside for one of the UK's leading leisure club chains that have gyms all over the UK. They provide great pathways to develop your fitness career through opportunities and a learning and development program.

This highly hands‑on management role covers many areas. The key responsibilities are:

People
  • Monthly, weekly, and daily meetings with your HODs discussing performance, setting objectives, and agreeing accountability.
  • Monthly, weekly, and daily training/coaching sessions with your HODs.
Commercial
  • Manage targets and KPIs through your HODs and other team members.
  • Understand and influence opportunities from your PL. Create and manage business plans as required.
  • Achieve the targets and KPIs set for the club.
Operations
  • Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the correct induction process is followed for new colleagues or role changes.
  • Ensure all COSHH and risk assessments are completed and reviewed six months or yearly as a minimum.
What We Are Looking For
  • A background in management within the fitness industry. Typically looking for someone who has been a General Manager in a fitness club, Club Manager, Fitness Manager, Deputy/Assistant Manager, or Sales Manager.
  • If from outside the industry, must excel in the above areas and have transferable examples.
  • Energy, personality, and ambition for this fitness job. Skillset is vital; personality and character also go a long way.

This role can develop significantly with progression to a larger general manager position or a cluster manager role.
