MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
The General Manager is responsible for delivery of the goals and objectives of the organization within the guidelines of the approved budget by utilizing resources efficiently. General Manager’s responsibility is to supervise the operational, financial and legal affairs of the organization. This role reports to the Managing Director Europe.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Compliance with safety rules and policies
- Ensure the BS EN 9100, BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN ISO 45001 are complied with in all areas of responsibility.

- Dotted line responsibly for R&D & Customer Service organizations.
- Must work closely with EU commercial experts.
- Setting and implementing strategic goals and objectives.
- Leading and supervising department heads and managers.
- Developing and managing budgets.
- Overseeing financial performance and reporting.
- Monitoring industry trends and competition.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Managing relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Resolving internal conflicts and issues.
- Implementing operational best practices.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree qualified (preferably within Chemical or Mechanical engineering) minimum, including 5 plus years of experience within a manufacturing environment. Composites experience is considered advantageous.
- Leadership : Strong leadership skills are needed to inspire and guide teams toward achieving common goals.
- Communication : Effective communication, both written and verbal, is needed to convey ideas, make presentations, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
