The Old Arcade is world‑renowned rugby heritage and central location make it a standout destination with consistently high footfall. Its two‑bar layout, strong community presence, and reputation for atmosphere create an amazing atmosphere for guests. The pub is equipped to handle high footfall, especially during international rugby fixtures, city events, and weekend nightlife. The pub also benefits from multiple screens positioned throughout, ensuring it remains a central hub for sports fans year‑round.
The Old Arcade doesn’t just attract sports fans it also has loyal local regulars, attracts office workers, tourists, and a vibrant evening crowd of students and young professionals. Its reputation as a city‑centre hub for international rugby ensures exceptional footfall on match days, while its welcoming atmosphere keeps trade strong throughout the week.
The Old Arcade is currently averaging £24,000 per week in sales with a 90% split in favour to wet. We’re looking for a dynamic, hands‑on General Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and can lead from the front. They should be commercially driven, passionate and knowledgeable about sports‑led hospitality, and skilled at building strong community and business relationships.
Management accommodation is available and located on first and second floor of pub; 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living areas.
