Job description
Overview

Entry level exposure to Mechanical & Electrical Repair. Directly reports to the shift maintenance lead. Learn troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing skills by assisting MRER maintenance personnel in the repair of production equipment and plant facilities. Perform basic plumbing, sheet metal fabrication and mechanical/electrical tasks such as hanging conduit, machine lubrication, preventative maintenance tasks, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Assist maintenance personnel in repair of production equipment and plant facilities.
  • Perform basic plumbing, sheet metal fabrication and mechanical/electrical tasks (e.g., hanging conduit, lubrication, preventative maintenance).
  • Perform plant services tasks: pick-up and delivery of maintenance materials and equipment throughout the operation; grounds maintenance including snow shoveling, sanding, grass cutting; painting, carpentry, general cleaning; use of specialized cleaning equipment; restroom cleaning and trash pickup.
  • Assist with routine and preventative maintenance of production equipment (oil, lubricate, remove materials).
  • Support Security & Continuity tasks: participate in security patrols, observe for hazards, monitor plant equipment (boilers, compressors), and inspect Waste Water Treatment Plant per EHS policies.
  • Work to participate in training plans and learn skill(s) as outlined by the training program.

Role Details

Role starts at $30.60/hr. 5th Shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm, 7 Days On, 2 Days Off, 3 Days On, 2 Days Off. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of base salary; posting is expected to close on November 30, 2025.

Notes

Plant assignment could change according to workload. The position may require working some holidays, shutdowns, and overtime. The pay and shift information above reflects the current posting.
