About the Role:


Cover People are currently recruiting for a General Cover Teacher to join a supportive secondary school based in Bury with immediate availability for short term supply teaching!


This is a flexible-temporary opportunity for a passionate and reliable educator to make a real impact without fully committing to a long term, full time role. The successful candidate will be expected to cover a variety of lessons/year groups so we re ideally looking for a quick thinking, versatile Teacher with strong behaviour management skills.


This local school are searching for local candidates looking for a regular school to book short term cover from week to week!



Responsibilities


  • Efficiently log behaviour points/safeguarding incidents

  • Ensure students are completely the set cover work during the cover lesson

  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment



Qualifications


  • QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching UK curriculum

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

  • A passion for teaching and pupil progress

  • Right to work in the UK
