Job Title: GCSE Tutor

Location: City of Oxford

Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths, English and/or Science (dependant on your speciality)
  • Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEN needs, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging.
  • Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
  • Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students build confidence in their GCSE's.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in Maths, English and/or Science.
  • Experience working with SEN students.
  • Teacher qualification such as QTS or PGCE.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learner needs.
