Job Title: Gas Turbine Technician

Company: Sulzer Turbo-Margate, Florida

Company Overview: Sulzer Turbo Services (STS) is an independent provider of services and repairs of critical turbomachinery. We specialize in the repair, overhaul, and replacement of parts for high-speed rotating equipment such as steam and gas turbines, compressors, expanders, and other industrial rotating equipment primarily in the Oil & Gas, Pipeline, Petrochemical, Ammonia, Nitric Acid, Fertilizer, and Power markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and with team members to disassemble, inspect, conduct minor repairs, assemble, and modify gas turbine engines, turbines, accessories, and support systems.
  • Adhere to detailed work instructions and procedures assigned by the supervisor and monitored by a quality inspector.
  • Acquire personal tools and hardware to perform the work; specialized tools provided by Sulzer.
  • Operate instrumentation to perform pressure and flow tests.
  • Review all phases of tasks, as specified by work instructions, to perform self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspect, operate, and maintain shop equipment, facilities, and support systems.
