Job description

As a Gas Safe Plumber, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems across a range of properties. From heating systems and drainage to water supply and sanitation, your role will ensure systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This role requires hands‑on experience, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a flexible approach to support on‑call and seasonal shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair water supply, sanitation, waste disposal, and central heating systems.
  • Service piped systems including drainage and closed‑loop heating circuits.
  • Test systems for efficiency and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of plumbing materials and equipment.
  • Support other maintenance staff when needed.
  • Adhere to all company health and safety standards, including COSHH and building regulations.
  • Participate in shift rotations and on‑call duties as required.
  • Carry out additional duties within the scope of the role as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Plumbing (Essential)
  • Unvented hot water systems ticket (Essential)
  • Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and installations (Essential)
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH requirements
  • Familiarity with current building regulations
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Own hand tools
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
