Job Overview

We have an opportunity for a Gas Engineer to join a Regional Gas Management team, based in Rochford. This role will provide an effective Gas Operations service that meets contract and customer expectations, including gas installation, servicing and repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out installation, fault fixing, maintenance duties, installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems in accordance with contract and service specifications.
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
  • Resolve problems or set in motion means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed, in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented – G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) or currently undertaking the qualification. Candidates must bring original certification at interview; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • Experience of servicing and repairing boilers.
  • Ability to work independently on a variety of boiler types and systems.
  • Proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all.
  • Valid full UK driving licence (required for driving on company business).
