Overview

Gas Engineer – Portsmouth and surrounding areas • £44,600 per year

Responsibilities

• Service and repair of domestic gas appliances (e.g. gas boilers, fires)
• Perform routine maintenance checks
• Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials
• Participate in the out-of-hours service delivery on a rota basis (currently every 1 in 6 weeks)
• Act as a liaison between residents and internal teams to ensure property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly
• Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience as a gas engineer
• Great customer service skills
• Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT
• Previous domestic or social housing experience is advantageous
• Desirable but not essential – HTR1, CONGLP1PD, Unvented Hot Water Systems
