United Autosports – McLaren Hypercar Programme

Full-time | Trackside operations | High-intensity environment

If you take pride in smooth operations, immaculate environments and being the force that keeps everything running behind the scenes — this is the role for you.

About the Role

As a Garage Technician, you’ll run the physical heart of the operation. You will ensure the garage, pitwall and operational infrastructure are built, maintained and executed at elite standards. This is a hands‑on, action‑heavy, detail‑driven role that directly influences how effectively the team performs at every event.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Building, maintaining and packing garage structures, pitwall, equipment and operational infrastructure.
  • Managing garage appearance, cleanliness, branding and professional presentation.
  • Running pitlane equipment, fuel rigs, air systems, lighting, cooling and safety systems.
  • Supporting mechanics with car moves, positioning, setup and equipment preparation.
  • Managing toolboxes, workstations, consumables, storage and load lists.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and paddock regulations.
  • Supporting live‑session operations – pitstop preparation, equipment changeovers and response to unexpected events.
  • Keeping the entire environment organised, tidy and ready for execution at any moment.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience working in a technical, mechanical or trackside motorsport environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, reliability and pride in presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, move fast and maintain calmness.
  • Practical understanding of tools, equipment and garage infrastructure.
  • A proactive, “get it done” attitude with high personal standards.

If you want to be the backbone of trackside operations and thrive in fast‑paced environments — this is your arena.
