Job description
Overview

We are looking to appoint a Gap or Trainee Rowing Coach, to join our existing team, from October 2025. You will coach pupils from our senior girls' and boys'. This is a part-time or full time post working 22 - 35 hours per week all year round. This is a great role to balance with developing your own potential as a rower. For the part time role (22 hours), sessions will primarily be in the afternoons. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate rower and aspiring coach who is committed to their own development and co-creating an engaging environment for our students to learn and progress. To be successful in this role, you must be:

  • A committed rower with competitive experience
  • Keen to contribute to the whole department and develop as a coach
  • Patient, with the ability to inspire confidence in others
  • Skilled in building excellent working relationships with students and colleagues
  • Flexible in your approach to work, with the ability to work outside normal working hours, as some weekend and evening work may be required
