A leading defense organization in Bristol is seeking a Missile Architect for the Future Products team. This role involves defining product structures and engaging in architectural trade studies. Candidates should have relevant engineering knowledge and enjoy collaborative environments. The position offers flexible working arrangements and significant bonuses based on performance.
As a Missile Architect within the newly formed Future Products team you will be working to shape the next generation of MBDA products.
Circa £65,000 depending on experience.
3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Within Future Products, your role will be to help realise the system design intent into a feasible and credible product concept that balances the requirements placed upon it. This will include:
You'll get to work with and have wide exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, e.g. S&BD, Future Systems, MOD, DSTL, key industrial partners. Alongside working on new technology to develop brand new capabilities and designs, making this role an exciting prospect.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape and grow in line with your personal development, with an opportunity to lead a small and multidiscipline team. It’s an interesting role that will provide you with a deep understanding of early phase Missile and weapon system design.
