The Role

Reporting to the Future Airspace Consultation Lead, the Future Airspace Consultation Advisor will support the delivery of airspace change, required by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), at the three MAG airports as part of the Government’s UK wide Airspace Modernisation Strategy (AMS).

Working in a dedicated Future Airspace team across the Group, the role will work directly with a diverse mix of external and internal stakeholders and contribute to the delivery of the Future Airspace project at an airport level. MAG’s Future Airspace Programme is part of a national programme of change.

This role will focus on communicating the technical elements of the airspace change proposals. Ideal if you have an interest in aviation and airspace change and experience in a related field. You will support the Future Airspace Consultation and Technical Liaison Manager, and work closely with our technical consultants, developing your technical knowledge across all three Airspace Change Proposals (ACPs).

There will be a need for occasional travel to other MAG airports.

What will make you successful in this role

You’ll be an excellent communicator with knowledge of airport operations, aircraft noise management, or a related field. You will have experience of engaging stakeholders on complex, technical subject matter and possess the ability to translate technical information into accessible content for varied audiences. Data analysis skills and experience would be advantageous to your application.
