Overview

Discover a new kind of career in healthcare as a functional specialist

Location: Belfast + 9 sites across Northern Ireland – Armagh, Ballymena, Coleraine, Dungannon, Enniskillen Foyle, Newry, Omagh and Portadown.

Hours: You’ll be contracted to work 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week (full time). Working patterns will be between the hours of 8am and 8pm.

Salary: £38,500, increasing to £39,500 upon meeting approval
+ Excellent Benefits + Over 100 CPD Hours in First 3 Months. Opportunity of Overtime at a significant higher rate

Make a Meaningful Impact with Your Clinical Expertise

Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone assessments and face-to-face functional assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions.
  • Compile clear, concise and factual medical reports - no treatment or diagnosis required.
  • Collaborate with regional managers and administrators to meet service level agreements.
  • Use IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing.
  • Embrace ongoing feedback and professional development.
What We’re Looking For
  • One year's post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or doctor
  • Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, GMC), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A professional, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to undergo BPSS security clearance

Successful candidates will be required to successfully complete government baseline personnel security standard vetting. This is the recognised standard for the pre-employment screening of individuals with access to government asset.
