A fast-growing accountancy firm based just outside of Sudbury is seeking a motivated Accountant to manage client portfolios and develop others within the team. The role provides an excellent opportunity to take ownership and make an impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified (or part-qualified) with a passion for high-quality service and team mentorship. A commitment to continuous improvement and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Produce management accounts and VAT returns.
• Review and support the work of junior team members.
• Build strong client relationships acting as their trusted adviser.
• Play an active role in improving processes.
