Job description

A brilliant fixed-term contract role leading on People Systems, Reward, and Policy for a professional services firm for 18 months, covering Maternity Leave. As part of the People Operations team, this position has oversight across the employee lifecycle and contributes to the wider People Strategy, while managing direct reports and collaborating across HR functions.

Duties
  • Managing compensation and benefits, including chairing remuneration committees and leading salary reviews.
  • Leading on reward strategy, including benchmarking and ad hoc compensation changes.
  • Overseeing employee engagement surveys, analytics, and reporting.
  • Managing HR policies and maintaining the employment manual.
  • Leading the development and integrity of HR systems and data.
  • Ensuring alignment with data protection obligations.
  • Managing direct reports covering reward, policy, process, analysis, and engagement.
  • Contributing to cross-functional strategic initiatives within the business enablement teams.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above, or equivalent) and have experience in reward management, HR systems, and policy development. Strong data analysis, reporting, and visualisation skills are required, alongside the ability to manage projects, budgets, and employee relations. Knowledge of employment law within the Channel Islands is desirable. A professional, resourceful approach and the ability to build rapport at all levels are essential.
