Job description

Otis is growing and we are recruiting a FRS Catalog Development Lead within the supply chain department at Otis reporting to the supply chain director. The main goal of the role is to develop the catalogue solutions across both the mechanic and field sector of the business. To develop and deliver a smooth efficient process for ordering products and solutions to our customers needs.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for the EMEA catalogs including leading the catalog system development to meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for synergy and productivity looking at improving automation processes. Develop and manage deployment plan across EMEA. Become an EMEA super‑user.
  • Be user centric and engage directly with stakeholders to understand their pain points, preferences and evolving needs. Write specifications and total the development of requirements, establish the business case and lead on approvals process. Write the specifications for the development, establish and follow the business case to prioritize the development roadmap.
  • Communicate to the organization and the stakeholders all the new requirements implemented and the positive impact. Guarantee the good understanding of developments by users and their proper use to ensure full efficiency.
  • Customer Centric: Deeply understand user needs and translate them into actionable plans.
    Global Mindset: Coordinate development efforts across countries and globally to ensure a cohesive solution.
    Process and system expertise: Knowledge about current country processes and systems is an advantage to implement central strategy and systems.
    Adaptability: Quickly pivot to address evolving requirements and embrace innovative ideas.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Have solid knowledge of user experience and catalog ergonomics. Demonstrated experience in driving large scale organizational and process change.
  • Leadership capabilities including the ability to influence without direct authority in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking with strong sourcing negotiations and contracting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple projects simultaneously and excel in a dynamic global environment.
  • Ability to develop talent with individual development plans and robust employee engagement.
  • Flexibility of daily schedule allowing for effectiveness in a role with global interactions.
  • Multi‑lingual is a plus. We will train you intensively in the areas of technology & processes and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.
