Delta Hotels Edinburgh are on the look-out for an Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team!

The Role

As an assistant front of house manager, you will lead from the front and always strive to set the standard we are proud of!

Responsibilities
  • Using our company standard to anticipate and deliver on guests needs and ensuring the team are consistently delivering on these needs
  • Confident and professional engagement with guests at all times
  • Communicate between departments appropriately on specific guest requests
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality and standards are meeting the expectations of guests at all times
  • Handle complaints and resolve any guest conflicts
  • Supervises all areas of the Front Office in the absence of the Front Office Manager
  • Assist in the interviewing and hiring of team members
  • Brings issues concerning employee satisfaction to the attention of the Manager or HR
Candidate Requirements

High school diploma & 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area.

OR

2 year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related subject.
