The Role

As a Front End Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing responsive, high-quality user interfaces while working closely with backend developers, product owners, and cloud engineers.

• Building and maintaining modern front-end applications using React
• Working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with backend services
• Contributing to UI/UX discussions, technical decisions, and best practices
• Collaborating within a cloud-first environment hosted on Microsoft Azure
• Supporting the full development lifecycle from concept through to deployment and optimisation

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Strong commercial experience with React (JavaScript / TypeScript)
• Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture and component-based design
• Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end and backend systems
• Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Azure
• Clean coding practices and a strong eye for detail and usability

Desirable:

• Backend experience with C# / .NET
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-style workflows
• Knowledge of modern testing frameworks and front-end performance optimisation
