French Speaking Associate Recruitment Consultant

Position Overview

We are a well-established niche sector recruitment company specializing in the Japanese market in the UK and Europe. Our Japan team handles Japanese-speaking vacancies across various sectors, while our European team supports Japanese organizations with non-Japanese speaking roles.

We are seeking a junior French-speaking recruitment consultant to join our team to support growth and strengthen our operations.

Compensation and Benefits

Basic salary starting from £24K plus commission and profit share, with an OTE of £29K-£32K in the first year, and £33K-£41K in subsequent years. Benefits include flexible allowances (medical, gym, dental, massage, etc.).

Location and Working Hours

London, near Bank station, with hybrid working after probation. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00-18:00.

Eligibility

Applicants must be eligible to work permanently in the UK, as visa sponsorship cannot be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement.
  2. Developing new client and business relationships within the UK and Europe.
  3. Maintaining client relations through professional communication.
Daily Activities
  • Understanding client needs and requirements.
  • Sourcing candidates via job boards and platforms.
  • Managing client communications and updates.
  • Logging data into CRM systems accurately.
  • Writing and posting job descriptions.
  • Screening CVs and conducting interviews.
  • Supporting colleagues with English language checks and other ad hoc tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience or familiarity with Japanese business culture is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages like Japanese or German are a plus.
  • Analytical, enthusiastic, and proactive with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Japanese culture and liaising with Japanese clients and candidates.
