Overview

Hexagon Recruitment are seeking an exceptional Freight Account Manager for a trusted client with an office in Central London.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing business.
• Handling all import & export sea freight operational aspects/queries from Customer, liaising with both external and internal customers and suppliers.
• Ensuring customers receive the very best service at all times, in line with agreed SOPs, and to ensure a smooth and efficient movement of goods to the Customer.
• Financial/Commercial
  • Make Payments to the shipping lines
  • Ensuring files are fully costed and profitable
  • Raising invoices to customers
• Operational
  • Check that the shipping documents are present/in order
  • Liaise with shipping lines/overseas agents and other forwarding agents
  • Ensuring any queries are resolved as soon as possible
  • Check the options re releases (Line Haul/Merchant Haul/Rail/Road)
  • Arrange releases, PIN numbers and restitution
  • Providing prompt and professional Customer Service to all clients
