Job summary

A leading construction recruitment agency is hiring a Freelance Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of an old ambulance station into offices in Morecambe. This is a 4-month contract with a day rate of £250 to £260, expected to last from January until April 2026. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in site management and relevant qualifications such as CSCS and SMSTS. Responsibilities include managing site activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and supervising subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Manager position.
• Experience in managing refurbishment projects.
• Familiarity with health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities on a refurbishment project.
• Oversee small demolition works.
• Ensure project is completed in line with standards.
• Coordinate with contracts manager and client.
